Q: What
is the balanced position concerning the killing of Usamah Bin Laden as
there are those who are delighted with his killing and others who said
that he was a Mujaahid and they judged him to have achieved martyrdom?
A: The Shaykh responded:
"How is he a Mujaahid! Yes, he was a Mujaahid [a person that strove] in the path of the devil.
Usamah Bin Laden brought a great deal of evil to the Muslims and there
is no doubt that his departure will bring them ease; the people will be
more at ease due to his departure."
