Honestly after having a long day; I realized that if you want people to come to the Masjid to do activities you want to do, your also going to have to compromise & do what THEY want to do. Ma'sha'Allahh. Well today I spent the day with so many grade 8 girls (Ages 13,14,15) & a couple of older sisters like myself, & ma'sha'Allah we had a great day remembering Allah before going out to the activity that they love which was -SKATING. It was all a last minute thing & for some reason the number of little girls at the masjid was more then usual. [I secretly think they planned it & just came to the masjid knowing we'd be there, alhamdulilah] I guess by working with what the youth enjoy doing we can excite them more by having islamic/fun events. So alhamdulilah alot of new things I learned today & thoughts that insha'Allah will make future outings better & 2MORROW IS JUMAA =)
