It's amazing, you can choose from different recitors and different surahs (which ever one your on and trying to memorize), it's repetitive so that you can memorize the ayat (lines) very quickly.
If your dedicated your going to see results.
Another tip is , if your able to get the Quran books that are divided into different Juz (Sections) 1-30 that would be more beneficial to your efforts. Looking at a smaller book will motivate you to finish it and before you know it your on the 10th section of the Quran.. then your DONE! ( not that quick, but you catch my drift =]) It's all about your mind state and looking at a big Quran might make it seem impossible.
Also read some Quran everyday , I'm not asking you to memorize a page but maybe half a page. Start off memorizing a couple of lines then the next day more and the next day more gradually you will get used to it and your tolerance for sitting and reading the Quran will increase.

JazakhAllah Khair, thats so true about getting smalle books for each juz, makes you feel like your accomplishing something.

ReplyDeleteP.S -EVERYONE GET A SHIEKH, THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO TEST YOURSELF AND SEE IF YOUR ACTUALLY MEMORIZING IT CORRECTLY!
