SubhanAllah I had sucha long day, wow!
& I just want to say I love the masjid & the masjid GIRLS !

Today we had our first movie day at the masjid (halal ofcourse)
but we didn't get to watch it due to technical difficulties but subhanAllah it was beautiful to see the sisters still enthusiastic and just so happy to be among other muslimahs. Like the connection was really there between everyone.
We laughed & remembered Allah aswell, from playing Tag in the dark (like literally pitch black, cellphone lights on deck!), to having a mini Talent Show, Quran recitation, Jin Stories being shared. We each learned alot from this get together. & YAY we're going to planning more so if your from TORONTO & want to attend, please go on facebook & search Umar Bin Khattab Masjid..I believe thats the name, i'll clarify it & get back to you all inshaAllah.
Also basketball 2morrow from 8am-11am ! every Sundays @ Regent Park Duke of York Public School gym, & same place from 6pm-8pm on Monday evenings, alhamdulilah! =D
& we'll be planning skating events, tobogganing, halaqas, lectures etc. . .
halal + gathering for the Sake of Allah.

It's important to be active in the local mosques because we can be there for one another & be among sisters who Fear Allah & just want to Obey Allah. Hard to find that in the times we live in, SubhanAllah.
May Allah make us among those who he shades on the day that there will be no protection but his! Ameen
