On Friday I went to Abu Huraira masjid during the evening-ish, The event Jins,Magic etc was on & it was the free introduction to the course. Honestly Jin's don't really creep me out at all, alhamdulilah if you know how to protect yourself your good! BUT when I was there oh my did I ever have a weird feeling in my gut like i was just so afraid of seeing someone start acting crazy or maybe even discovering I have a Jin in myself..all these thoughts racing through my mind because I've heard of a sister who had a Jin in her for 3 years & the Jin was so strong against the Quran so she NEVER knew, how ajeeb is that. So the shiekh was doing some jin/magic tests meaning he was trying different excersices to see if anyone would react & also mentioned the symptoms of having a Jin --talk about awkward. My friends were like omA ( oh my Allah) I have that, & omA that sister we know is like that. It was pretty hilarious..but without the laughter! Looking back at that we were acting like a bunch of babies, but subhanAllah could you blame us? It's an unseen world of theirs that's around us, anything can happen. PLUS at the Saturday seminar there was "Jin activity" as I like to call it, where somehow wallahu alam I don't know the full story but the SAHEEH part is that a sister started screaming and ran out of the seminar-- subhanAlllahh; My brother told me how after that they read a bit of quran on the poor sister walahu alam, May Allah Cure Her! Ameen. The seminar is going on today as well for half price $15 so if your interested it's at Ryerson University, In'sha'Allah I'll find the flyer & post it. --Great thing about this class I think is that he will teach you how to protect yourself for those of us who don't know =)
