Is going out in Demonstrations/Protests and Revolutions from the Methodology of the People of the Sunnah and Jama’ah?

Question: Does going out in demonstrations and starting revolutions – as well as raising the youth upon that – from the methodology of the people of the Sunnah and Jama’ah or not? Whether that is done inside the lands of the Muslims or outside, and what is your advise to those who established this as way of Da’wah/Call to Allaah?

Answer by Shaikh Rabee’ bin Hadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah):

This is from the methodology of Marx and Lenin and the likes of them. And it is not from the methodology of Islam. Revolutions, spilling of the blood, Fitan/trials and tribulations, causing problems and the methodology of Marx and Lenin are all attached by the Ikhwanul Muslimeen “Muslim Brotherhood” to the methodology of the Khawaarij, and they call it “Islam.”

That’s their way, just like [the false claims of] “Islamic” Music, “Islamic” Socialism, “Islamic” Democracy and “Islamic” dancing.

All of the misguidances is brought by them from the east and the west, from past and present, and cloaked with the cloak of “Islam.” May Allaah make Islam innocent from all of these ways.

Allaah says (what means): Invite (mankind, O Muhammad) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur`an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. (an-Nahl, ayah 125)

Jihaad has its chapters and conditions, and none of these Marxist ways that they throw the cloak/cover of Islam upon. They took revolutionary ways and socialism from Marx and Lenin.
They took democracy from America, and said, “we fight America,” while they are marketing the American ideology. By Allaah, they are marketing it.

Establishing multi-party systems, changing leadership every so often, elections, and demonstrating are all American ideologies. America pays billions of dollars to spread it all over the world, and take over/conquer other nations with it.

They [Ikhwanul Muslimeen] are from the greatest servants/agents to America and marketers of such ideology. And they say about other people: “they are agents for America!”
