"Whoever treads on a path in search of Islamic knowledge, Allah will ease the way to Paradise for him. Narrated Ibn Umar Radiallahu Anh. The Prophet salallahu alayhi wa salam said: “Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard flow (Grow)” - Sahih Muslim no. 498
indeed there is beauty and blessing in keeping beard.
