Asalamu alaykum warahmatuallahi wabarakatu
I loved the Khutbah today, it was on manners upon entering the Masjids (Mosques) & it's part of a series of Khutbahs my local Masjid started about The Masjids. Talking about the different sunnahs we should preform and how we should act inside the House of Allah.
This is an excellent idea because many including myself do not know certain sunnahs that must be preformed within the Masjid. It was beautiful, many Hadiths were quoted and Subhan'Allah amazing how Hadiths are so in synced with our lives of today when they were written a very long time ago. We learn from them and help ourselves to better our lives in the worship of Allah and to come closer in obedience.
Did you know?
Khutbahs are by far the most important thing, more important then reading the Quran, then saying thikr (remembering Allah by saying Subhan'Allah, Alhamdulilah, Allahu Akbar). You have to be attentive in them and actually apply them because they are sound advice and a believer to act upon a Khutbah is very beneficial because it's helping him.
